As funny as it may sound, now it has been revealed that one IDRIS KAMAU has been the man behind the series of killings in Lamu and Tana river area. NIS now confirms that this one man, Kamau, a Kenyan kikuyu, alongside a former Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier, Abu Jamal are leading a group unknown number of Alsha bab fighters operating in Lamu forests. “Intelligence reports say that Idris Kamau, a Kenyan of Kikuyu ethnicity, was the mastermind of the spate of terror attacks in Lamu that have so far claimed 87 lives. This information is contained in a report prepared by the National Intelligence Service (NIS) and sent to police stations in the Coast region on June 4.
The alert also indicated that a former Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier, Abu Jamal, is in charge of a cell of the Al Shabaab fighters in Mombasa said to be planning more attacks in the region.”, standard report,
This now raises more questions that answers. Why did Mr .Kenyatta so authoritatively claim that it was political networks? Could be that this was witch-hunt to paint bad picture of the opposition and undermine sabasaba? I remember him mention of some people profiling a certain Kenyan community. Specifically he meant his tribe Gikuyus were being targeted by the opposition. Now the truth is out. It was a fellow Kikuyu, will him and Ole lenku now come out to puplicly apologize to the Kenyan public?
