challenging injustice and valuing diversity." It exists when "all people
share a common humanity and therefore have a right to equitable
treatment, support for their human rights, and a fair allocation of

Our society today has an acute shortage of champions of social justice. This is despite of giving lip-service to this all essential virtue of a cohesive society. Self-interests and greed seem to have taken centre in our capitalistic societies.
Development ought to be all inclusive, actually we all have a role to play. Beneath this practicality lies a strong value system that can be summarized in two words: social justice. Social justice is the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities.
