THIS IS WHERE WE ARE...

 

Kenyans are overtaxed. Thanks to VAT bill that passed sometimes last year. 

The cost of living is too high with inflation trend worrying.

The new constitution was made to devolve this tax payers money to grassroots, but lol...slowly Moi era tactics are taking center stage with now state harambee being used as a way to blind the impoverished masses. Its sickening to watch Ruto give handouts of our money to regions he has political interest in and worse to watch the president promising goodies to get support.
How i wish kenyans realize this constitution is too expensive if not fully implemented. The new dispensation created a "national kamukunji" in the name of parliament, senatorial positions which are basically oversight body and  MCAS who do not much than the previous wardreps- thus have all the time to impeach whoever cant buy them.
The solution to our current problems would be we devolve the hard-earned kenyan shilling.
Lets take the money down to the people.
Let the central govt start slimming down.
Lets be open minded to talk so as to harness our local resources .
Increased productivity both at national and county level would make our economy not just grow but develop too.
Am sure those opposed to #okoakenya and #pesamashinani have to point to argue their case rather than saying its time for work not politics. But am sure any rational kenyan will agree with me, politics aside the only way to make good use of our taxes is to take them where they are needed. The only way to ensure development is to strengthen county govts not clinging to the old system where you had to please the government of Nairobi or your region lags behind.
